When the project only needs a nudge - an insanely short transmission with high rpm race cams and oem ecu. The cam wanted top end, ecu wanted midrange with revlimit at 6700rpm. A custom made pnp ecu in the stock housing solved it all. With the properly tuned fuel/ignition maps and increased rev limit to 7400rpm, max power was raised to 74kW@6800 (stock 63kW@6000rpm) and the usable rev range now matches the short, close-ratio gearbox to have a screaming, angry track weapon for short, technical tracks.
